One Year Later...

Hiya!
Well, it was a year ago this Monday that I left for my Scottish adventure, flying from Billings, MT, USA, and arriving (at long last) in St. Andrews, Scotland, UK many hours later. What a year it has been! After my adventures in Scotland concluded in June, I spent the summer at home in Great Falls basically chilling out and planning Mom and Dad's 25th anniversary party with Victoria. Then it was back to Augsburg for a fall semester filled with catching up with people I hadn't seen in many months and with much work trying to finish my degrees. (Me with roommates Emily and Sarah at Homecoming.) I happily survived the writing of two massive seminar papers, the culmination of my IR and Religion degrees. Then it was home for Christmas break and a sledding vacation at Hebgen Lake. Now I'm back at Augsburg again, finishing up the last of my requirements (including a gym class - pickleball) and generally trying to enjoy my last few months at the 'Burg as much as possible. I'm still in contact with many of my Scottish and international friends, for which I am very grateful, and I'm planning a trip back next fall or spring, depending on jobs and money. Le sigh. Right now, I'm not sure what next year will bring, but I'm confident that I'll make the most of it, whatever comes my way! For now, I can only say that I'm so happy to have had my Scottish adventure - what a blessing! I'm going to go ahead and finish out the blog with pictures and anecdotes from my travel in Germany and the UK this week, so look out for those. And who knows, maybe I'll have pictures from a new Scottish adventure to add in the not-too-distant future? Thanks for reading and for your friendship, love, and support. :)
